The Helmet House Construction Corporation has been family owned and operated in Vero Beach, Florida since 1984. Mr. Jan Jelmby moved to the United States with his wife, Rhoda, and 3 children from Vrigstad, Sweden, and now have 9 grandchildren.
Vero Beach is perfectly situated on Florida’s Treasure Coast between Palm Beach and the Kennedy Space Center in the world famous citrus producing region of Indian River County. By car, Palm Beach is about an hour away and Orlando is about an hour and a half away. Known as the “Gateway to the Tropics,” Vero Beach is located in a climatic transition zone that offers an unusual mix of vegetation found in the coastal Carolinas – ancient oak trees and pine forests – blended with swaying palms and colorful blooms typical of the tropics.
Vero Beach has a lot to offer aside from sunshine, beaches, and water sports.
